I've only done hot yoga a handful of times, including the two times I went this week. For those of you not familiar with it, you do yoga poses (like my favorite tree pose) but the pace is much slower due to the heated room. It's over 100 degrees in the room and you sweat like crazy for 90 minutes.
I was actually surprised how much I was perspiring in my last class. I'm not much of a sweater in the summer, so to cleanse your pores like that, was quite the experience. I have to say that there's something therapeutic about sweating buckets. You walk out of there feeling a natural high and a glow...as if I just walked out of a spa. I can't promise though, that the next day you won't feel sore...now, that's a different story.
