Pres. Obama at Letterman Show

I just happened to be walking by and saw the commotion outside the Ed Sullivan Theater here in NYC.  It's President Obama's motorcade (you see the black limo in the middle of the pic?) arriving this afternoon to tape his interview with David Letterman.  On the right, proof that even jaded New Yorkers are not too busy to check out the scene. 

BTW, the crowd clapped and cheered when he drove through.  I was surprised.

Why were you surprised? I saw the interview and let me tell you that whatever anyone says about this Prez I beleive he is soooo charismatic...and no one can deny this fact. He can be loose enough to joke around with David Letterman (and did you guys see the snippet with George Lopez? Brilliant!)and still be serious enough to discuss politics. We haven't had that since Bill Clinton, which by the way Letterman had the night after.
