I like the ring of that! I just got to my computer and read the good news. The Senate confirmed Sonia Sotomayor as the 111th Supreme Court Justice, the first Hispanic in U.S. history to hold that prestigious position.
It's a great day for Americans who believe in equality for all, but especially sweet for Latinos and women. We finally have some representation in the Supreme Court...a highly qualified "wise" Latina. Love it.
I'm so proud, I could cry! It's how I felt when President Obama won the election. I continue to have hope for this country.
