Bravo is launching this week their Project Runway replacement, The Fashion Show. Contestants will compete for a cash prize of $125,000 and will sell their designs in the retail market. Judging from the promo, it doesn't look like it'll be that much different from the popular ex-Bravo show.
I will say this though...I'm looking forward to seeing Isaac Mizrahi on television. I saw him speak at a conference last year...and he was hilarious. He has a great sense of humor and understands a woman's body. If the producers of the show can figure out a way to let his personality shine through, I think viewers will be hooked. Will you watch on Thursday?
I heart Mizrahi! He has such a colorful personality and his last show during fashion week was fab! I think maybe the network wanted to ditch the last host(s) and offer a more realistic prize. Also, he was one of the first high-end designers to make clothes on-the-cheap with target. So, it makes a lot of sense to have him as a host. Can't wait!

Hi G,
I missed the fashion week show but I'm sure he did a great job. Yep, I think he's genuinely funny and practical about fashion.
I look forward to checking it out too.
Best,
