Well, when I heard the story on Sunday, then Monday, and read it today Tuesday it never get's old. I'm cracking up here thinking what crazy friends I have. I went to get the duck sandwiches last week, and let me tell you when I ate them at home I wished I had gotten 2 more!!! They are delish, and to top it all of..a $1 each...you can't go wrong. My only question to my two goofy friends is: Why are you ordering something you have absolutely no idea to what it is? I saw the duck bone advertizement when I went there last week, but I know (having eaten things without knowing what they are until way after) that if you don't know what it is...STAY AWAY FROM IT!!! But for the sake of having us all crack-up I think it was worth it!!! Shirls, my sympathies go to you for being embarrassed...I would have been too!!!

B,

You probably would've turned red!

Yep, I've been cracking up to myself every time I think about it. Those ladies were probably saying "look at these morons". LOL.

Best,
gloria

I am still cracking up and shaking my head as us at the same time. What were we thinking asking for something we did not even Google before hand. The funniest part of this story is that after all the commotion and we are walking away from the stall, Gloria was still tempted to go back and ask what exactly is "duck bone" again! LMBO....hahahahahahahaaaaaa

my apologies to Shirley, we honestly did not mean to embarrass you, we were just a "little" determined to know what the advertisement was about ;)

That is ok. I am sure you guys meant well with asking about 'duck bone'. So, I learned some Chinese words to ask for the duck leg, so you guys can get a piece of duck. But they are savages there!!! The funny thing is I was telling my family about this story on Sunday and why was my dad and my mom in Flushing separately on Friday for different reasons.

They suggested next time, I get my dad on the phone and ask him to order for us. =)

Hi Reg & Shirls,

Reg -"determined" is a perfect word to describe the situation.

Shirls -I want to learn how to say "duck leg" in Chinese. How do you say it? Write it phonetically.

Best,
Gloria
