The only pageant that I ever enjoyed watching was the one on Ms. Congeniality the movie. I think that most answers to those competition questions, along with all the other categories are b-o-r-i-n-g....look at at the diffent shows and movies that mock them. They should try to vamp it up with a more modern look.

They try to vamp it up with a TLC show that made over the Miss America contestants. I think she was brave to answer the question with her own opinion, she didn't say it in a mean way. Everyone is entitled to their opinions, that is why we live here. Unless it is hurting someone, you have a right to believe in anything you want to.

I agree with having the right to your own opinion...but Miss America represents something that little girls look up to. Whenever you are a role model you have to be careful how to be OPEN about your answers. I thought she was brave to answer it truthfully but it sends the wrong message to those who pay attention to what you have to say. Also, I was watching the view and they were saying that Perez Hilton gave her a zero for her answer and it cost her the crown. And that you cannot be judged on your answer. But I tottally disagree. A judge is judging every part of the pageant. So if the Miss America people brought Perez Hilton as a judge...he has a right to give her any number he sees fit.
